Outstanding Dominicans were honored by St. Dominic College of Asia’s Achievers’ Day and Induc-tion Ceremony, held August 5 at the Don Gregorio M. Andaman Sr. Hall (Gymanasium).

The program started with the opening remarks by Mr. Jonathan Velustria Sta Ana, Director of the Department of Student Affarirs and Services (DSAS). This was followed by a speech from the guest speaker, the Dean of the School of Health Science Professions (SHSP), Dr. Mary Nellie T. Roa.

After certificates of accreditation were given to various Institutional Academic and Non-Academic student organizations, Certificates of Recognition were given to each Dominican Achiever, along with a commemorative  medal to those who qualified for the President’s List.

A speech was given by Dr. Marita Andaman-Rillo, SDCA’s Founding President and a member of it’s Board of Trustees. President of the Circle of Dominican Achievers, Ms. Sarah Grace G. Montemayor  gave an intermission number. She is also this academic year’s topnotcher. The singing of the SDCA Hymn concluded the event.
