One of the trends in the cyber world is the E-gaming, it is the world of online games. It is now considered as E-sports because it has competitions all over the world. In this kind of gaming, the player can go individual, multiplayer or Multiplayer Online Battle Arena. The games that are famous today among the youth are: League of Legends DotA 2, and Warcraft 3 DotA.
The E-sports scene is spreading across other countries and each player or team had competed around Asia, among these games is a one proud Dominican Alumni, graduated with a Degree in B.S. Information Technology. He’s been a champion for four straight legs in the field of First Person Shooting, playing “Counter Strike Global Offensive”. “Rbtx” is his pseudo name in competition and belonged to a group of players called “TNC Gaming”.
This person is Jose Carlo”JC” Jamir, 26 years old. In their team, he usually play the role of a Strategy Caller/Support/Killer. He’s been playing, “Counter Strike Global Offensive” for almost a year and he is hoping that more gamers will be patronizing the First Person Shooting Game and state that the teams in this field are doing their best to make the community larger.
Getting interviewed by mineski.net, he stated that aside from playing Counter Strike Global Offensive, he’s also playing Role Playing Games (RPG) published locally by Level up Games. Their team also tried playing Crossfire PH and luckily they bagged 1st runner up and still bringing some awards to our country in the field of gaming.
Their team are bound to compete again in the next leg of competition. “Although we succeeded in winning four-peat MPGL Championships, I think it will be harder for us to win the next leg because the participating teams are improving continuously. Then again, we will always do our best to sweep the tournament. Our goal remains the same--to become the best team not only in the Philippines, but also in Asia”... he quoted when asked if they could win the next tournament.
JC Jamir, is one of the Dominican who is continuously waving our flag in the field of online gaming together with his team and making us proud. He is hoping for the support of his fellow Filipinos and thankful for the support that the Dominican Family has given to him.
