It started with just a plain pizza parlor that became the multitude’s favorite after becoming popular with their irresistibly best-selling pizza delicacies. From then on, we’ve craved for their scrumptious delights served with the superb deluxe of Shakey’s. With the history of serving people with their delectable menu since 1945, Shakey’s opened its new branch last February 12 along Emilio Aguinaldo Highway at City of Bacoor, Cavite, bringing with them different ranges of pizza from Italian to American style.

According to Ms. Susan M. Verdejo, Shift Manager of Shakey’s – Bacoor Branch, their pizzeria’s target market is the students of SDCA, different office workers and children. They also offer at their lowest affordable price dead set of 119 pesos, to fit with the students’ budget. The reason why they built it was because Bacoor had reached its cityhood and they want to be a part of the city’s growing economic status.

The new wing of Shakey’s here in Bacoor is the very first divergence to showcase its new theme of an all-American Pizza Parlor that came with a mini Fun Zone consisting of arcades and different sporty video games to persuade customers. Aside from their new attractions, new styles and flavors were also availed like the thin-crust pizza. Another interesting fact is that this Shakey’s branch is the first in the country to use Shakey’s new logo.

The first Shakey’s was found at Sacramento, California year 1954, by Sherwood “Shakey” Johnson and Ed Plummer. The pizza parlor clicked to the crowd’s taste and become successful. Shakey’s career grew and spread to different countries, and there are already 130 Shakey’s extensions all over the Philippines and eight are found here in Cavite.
