A gateway is a passage that serves as an entryway or a means of access to a certain place.

If you are a student of a St. Dominic College of Asia, you may have a different concept of this term. You may think of it as the school’s official student publication or a mall located there in Cubao. The publication had no intention of deriving its name from that certain mall.

The school publication’s name was based on the idea that City of Bacoor is basically the gateway towards the province of Cavite, it being the first place you enter coming from Manila.

With that, SDCA is the first college you will see when you enter Cavite and its strategic location—along the intersection of Manila-Cavite Expressway, Molino Blvd and E. Aguinaldo Hwy—has provided accessibility to Cavite’s other cities and town namely Dasmariñas City, Imus City, Cavite City, Kawit, Noveleta and even Tagaytay City.
